LG Optimus GT540 Smart-Phone Review
The LG Optimus GT540 was launched in such a time when the phone biggies where fighting it against each other with their latest Android phones. The LG Optimus GT540 too runs on Android, but the makers were not too carried away with the ongoing battle between mobile makers to create the best phone. Well this doesn’t mean that the GT540 isn’t too a good a phone, it has almost every feature that you would need, yet, it is not what you call a high-end phone.
The TFT resistive touchscreen is quite big and responds quite-well to any input. The camera is a 3MP auto-focus camera and video recording happens at 17 frames per second ensuring that the quality of video and image is good enough. The internal memory in this phone isn’t huge and is only 139 MB. However, the Optimus GT540 gives you the option of expandable memory up to 16GB, which s good enough for most of us.
The basic features are all there and one does not need to worry about it. One of the good things about this phone is that it is easy to use and the makers are open about this. They themselves are ready to state that the LG Optimus GT540 is an entry level smart-phone. However, some of the features that it gives are good enough to take on some reputed smart-phones.
The GT540 was first launched in the Android 1.6 version, but these days it has been upgraded to Android 2.1 Éclair, somewhat improving the performance of the phone. This smart-phone is available in 4 colors Black, White, Silver and Pink.
In short, the LG Optimus GT540 is quite a good phone that comprises of all the features that one need, well-built, smart looks makes this phone an obvious choice, especially at such an affordable price.
